Open House Day

For most of my time spent in London, I played guitar in a restaurant in Borough Market 3-4 nights a week to cover my rent. When I wasn’t playing I’d be in the coffee shops and bars, eating in the restaurants or walking around the market. I lived nearby and it became one of my favourite parts of the city.

After last month’s terror attack the whole community around London Bridge and Borough Market has come together in the most amazing way, and today I was asked to come back and play, along with a load of other musicians, for the#welovelondonbridge Open House day, to celebrate everything we love about this incredible place.

I sang ‘Three Little Birds’ by Bob Marley, and the whole market sang along with me, one of the best moments I’ve ever had on a stage. Thanks London, don’t worry about a thing, every little thing is gonna be alright ? x
